Ever since we became Google Cloud Platform (GCP) partners, we’ve been creating content for our customers on how to get the most out of GCP. We decided that we would like to share this content with the wider community as open knowledge transfer is a strong ethos of ours.
Today we are introducing The Flying Beagle, Data Runs Deep’s home for GCP-related content. Our Beagles (blog posts) will range from short how-to articles on getting the basics done through to in-depth code walkthroughs. Through these articles we hope that the wider community will be able to help solve their marketing problems with solutions that combine the power of Google Cloud Platform and the Google Marketing Platform - something we have been doing for our clients all this while.
Why “The Flying Beagle”? This magnificent title is the brainchild of our very own Max Yodgee. It’s no secret that when you look around our site, we have a water and sea inspired theme. Seas harbour ships, and one of Max’s favourite ships is the HMS Beagle which is famous for transporting Charles Darwin all around the world. Hence the “Beagle” in “The Flying Beagle”. And when it comes to the cloud, Max pictures all of us flying among the clouds. Thus “The Flying Beagle” was born!
Here are our first set of Beagles:
- Mirroring GitHub repositories in Google Cloud Source Repositories
- Exporting Google Cloud Platform Billing Data to BigQuery
- Trigger Google Cloud Functions when new Google Analytics 360 BigQuery tables are ready
- Querying Google Cloud Functions performance data
- How to count the number of files in each of your Google Cloud Storage buckets
We look forward to sharing our GCP journey with you. If there are any pieces of content that you would like to see on here, please let us know!
